On Monday I created a poll on twitter about my final topic cancel culture. I asked my followers to vote on whether it was toxic or not. The topic I am choosing for my final social media blog is going to be about cancel culture. Cancel culture is withdrawing support from public figures that have done or said unethical things in their past or recently. Cancel culture originated from social media now that people are able to share their opinions and have their voice heard. I picked this because its been a hot topic lately and I'm not to fond of it. Everyday you log on to social media there is someone getting “canceled” about the most dumbest things. The point I want to get across with this topic is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and shouldn't be “canceled” based of what they believe. Also people shouldn't be crucified for stuff they've done in the past because everyone makes mistakes.
